Misconduct hearing outcome for PC Laura Vickers

An accelerated misconduct hearing was held on 16 August at Force Headquarters, Nettleham, for Police Constable Laura Vickers who was based at Gainsborough police station.
Police Constable Vickers was found to have breached the following standard of professional behaviour:
- Discreditable conduct
It was found that on the 12 July 2023 the officer breached the standards of professional behaviour when they were convicted by a jury of two counts of Misconduct in Public Office.
The chair, Chief Constable Chris Haward, found the breach proven and that it amounted to gross misconduct.
The outcome of the hearing was that Police Constable Laura Vickers was dismissed without notice.
