Fire on Trinity Street, Gainsborough

We are investigating reports of a fire on Trinity Street, Gainsborough last night (22 October).

Shortly after 11pm, we received reports of a large fire at the garages behind the Gainsborough Grill. Thankfully there were no injuries.

Crews from Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue also attended, and a joint investigation is still underway to determine the cause of the fire.

Investigators say there were no petrol accelerants found at the scene. It is unclear at this stage whether this was a deliberate ignition.
