We have charged a 50-year-old man with burglary following an incident where more than £2,500 of jewellery, perfume and other goods were reported stolen.
Officers were called to reports of a break in at a property in Sixfields Close, Lincoln, where the homeowner reported items including designer perfume, jewellery, earbuds, fabric conditioner and half a bottle of alcohol had been stolen.
The incident is believed to have taken place at some point between Friday 23 September and Sunday 25 September, and was reported to the police on 25 September.
Investigators and forensics experts attended the scene and following a thorough investigation, carried out an arrest yesterday (9 November).
Curtis Cadman, 50, of Sixfields Close, has been charged with burglary. He appeared at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today (10 November) and has been remanded into custody until 12 December when he will appear at Lincoln Crown Court.
The latest charge comes following a recent commitment from the Force to attend all burglaries at people’s homes.
