We are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following an ATM break at Horncastle in the early hours of this morning (9 March).
At around 1:55am, officers received reports of an ATM theft in progress at the Co-Op, High Street. A white flatbed transit van and a grey Volkswagen Golf was reportedly seen at the location.
On arrival, officers found damage to the shop’s window and cassette boxes containing a sum of cash were stolen from the premises.
The van was abandoned, and it’s believed three offenders left the scene in the Golf. The Golf was driven off in the direction of West Ashby towards Louth.
If you witnessed the incident or have any other information that can assist in our enquiries, please get in touch. If you witnessed anyone acting suspiciously in the area or have seen any suspicious vehicles, we would like to hear from you. We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have captured dashcam footage.
