A man has been jailed for the manslaughter of Jimmy Britton.
Jimmy Britton, aged 37, was struck by as a Ford Transit Van in Everingtons Lane, in Skegness, at 4.14pm on Wednesday 10th November.
He was rushed to hospital and sadly died on 18 November.
Another man, Jamie Cram, 21, was also injured. His injuries were not life threatening.
The van was driven by Jonathan Wilson, aged 34, who drove off from the scene.
A pursuit was carried out by officers and Wilson was stopped on the A16 near Boston. He was arrested and detained under the mental health act.
Wilson has today, Monday 12th December, appeared at Lincoln Crown Court where he was convicted of the manslaughter of Jimmy Britton and for GBH on Mr Cram. He has been jailed for 14 years and six months.
