We are appealing for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage following a collision involving a Stagecoach school bus.
At 8:29am on Thursday 11th November, we received reports of an overturned school bus on Meadow Lane in North Hykeham.
Emergency services attended the scene and thankfully the bus itself had not overturned and there were no serious injuries reported.
Meadow Lane and Brant Road were closed as a result to allow emergency services to deal with the incident.

The road is now open and the bus safely recovered. Thank you to everyone for their patience while we dealt with the incident.
To confirm, the bus did not overturn. This information was what was reported to us when it was called in at 8:29am. Thankfully there were no serious injuries from the incident.

We were called to reports of an overturned Stagecoach school bus on Meadow Lane, North Hykeham at 8:29am today (11th November).
Meadow Lane and Brant Road were closed as a result to allow emergency services to deal with the incident. A 12-year-old boy sustained a broken arm during the incident and a 14-year-old girl was taken to hospital as a precaution.
Parents and guardians were advised against travelling to the scene and to make their way to St. Christopher’s School on Hykeham Road as the arranged rendezvous point.
A spokesperson for Stagecoach East Midlands said: "Our immediate thoughts are with the children involved and their families. We are giving the police our full support in helping to investigate and establish the circumstances of the incident."
