A selection of training materials are available and can be tailored to your needs whether that be a virtual session via Teams or a video presentation. We can talk about a whole range of topics including current threats, how to spot phishing emails, why password security is important, staying safe at home, social engineering, device security and much more.
Your officers belong to the National Cyber Protect Network which forms part of Team Cyber UK. They can access National resources and are up to date with the latest guidance and threat assessments released by the National Cyber Security Centre.
Cyber Protect and Prevent Officer Harry Lancaster said: “All businesses, organisations, charities and schools can benefit from understanding cyber threats and how best to protect business data, money and reputation.
“To gain optimum benefit from the input, we recommend scheduling 40 to 60 minutes, but this can be adjusted accordingly. If you’re a business or a school we can tailor the session to your organisation’s needs regarding timing, content and focus on topics that may be a risk to your business, community or network.”
According to statistics recently published by The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) four in 10 businesses (39%) and a quarter of charities (26%) report having cyber security breaches or attacks in the last 12 months.
