Urgent appeal for missing John Davis

Update 20 February:

John Davis is still missing. Officers are continuing with their inquiries to locate him and yesterday police drones were searching the North Thoresby and North Coates areas. Please report any possible sightings or information by calling 101 quoting incident 175 of 30 January.

Update, 8 February:

Lincolnshire Police have again taken primacy for the search for John Davis and continue to be very concerned for his welfare. Officers believe that John may have changed his hairstyle since his disappearance. Please report any possible sightings of John to us.

Update: This case has now been transferred to Humberside Police as it is believed that John is in the Grimsby area. Please call Humberside if you have any information to assist the ongoing search. 

Previous release, 2 February: John Carl Davis, aged 56, from Northcotes was last seen about 1740 on Wednesday 29th  January in Bethlehem Street, Grimsby, close to Freshney Place Shopping Centre. 

We are very concerned for John's welfare and are urgently appealing for sightings of him. 

We found John's car in the Hartwell Ford area of Grimsby on Friday 31st January and Humberside Police are assisting us with our continuing search. 

We have also issued another new photo of John which his family say is a better likeness than the one we issued on Saturday.  If you think you've seen John since last Wednesday evening, please call 101 quoting incident 175 of 30th January.
