We are appealing for the driver of a lorry which was in collision with a dog on the A17 Fulbeck Heath to contact us.
At around 10.14pm on Thursday 30th July we received a report of a road traffic collision in which a pedestrian, a man in his 40s, received serious injuries after a collision with a BMW car. The pedestrian has been taken to hospital where he remains. The pedestrian was walking his dog at the time.
Following the collision between the pedestrian and the car, a passing-by lorry struck the dog on the A17 Fulbeck Heath.
The dog was taken to the vets and we believe it received minor injuries. The lorry failed to stop at the scene but we believe the driver may be able to assist us with our investigation.
We are appealing for the lorry driver who was driving along this stretch of road at the time to contact us.
We would also like to hear from any witnesses, or any drivers who may have dashcam footage of the area at around the time of the collision.
