Found property - Marton

We would like to trace the owner of some property found by the River Trent, Marton.

A member of the public has alerted us to some property left overnight at a popular fishing spot.

The headphones and trainers were left by the side of the River Trent at Littleborough Lane, Marton near Gainsborough. The area is a fishing spot and we think someone may have dropped the articles or left them behind by mistake. The items have been left overnight between Monday 22nd June and Tuesday 23rd June.

We have checked for our reported missing people and no-one is outstanding that these may belong to.  We've checked with Nottinghamshire as well. Our other inquiries have drawn a blank. We need to make sure the owner is safe and well and hasn't fallen into the river.

The Sony headphones are metallic blue in colour and the trainers are white Nike in a size 7 1/2.

We appeal for anyone who may have dropped the items or anyone who was in the area between 10 pm on Monday 22nd June and 9.30 am on Tuesday 23rd June to get in touch.
