Dog bite, Grantham

We are appealing for witnesses and information after a woman was bitten by a dog in Grantham.

At around 6.30am yesterday (May 16th) the woman, aged in her 30s, was walking along Harrow Street near to the River Witham at the back of Sainsbury’s. It was at this point that she was approached by a large black dog that did not appear to be with anyone which bit her on the face. This resulted in multiple lacerations on her face that required stitches.

We would to hear from anyone who knows who the dog belongs to or anyone who saw the incident take place.
