Appeal: Attempted robberies, Morton

We would like to speak to this man who may have information about attempted robberies in Morton, near Gainsborough, on Monday (23 March).

Between 9.30am and 10am, an offender wearing a face mask entered the Lincolnshire Co-op store and, while holding a silver-coloured Stanley knife, demanded cash from the shop assistant.

The assistant refused and the offender left the shop, before walking to the Premier store on Crooked Billet store. They again used a Stanley knife and demanded cash, but the shop assistant again refused and the offender left the shop.

It is believed the offender left on a white mountain bike, in the direction of Ropery Road.
