GBH investigation, Southdown, Lincoln

Update as of 10am, 9 August:

The three people arrested have been released with no further action. A 53-year-old man has also been arrested and released on bail. The investigation continues.

Original release:

We were called to a property in Southdown, Lincoln at 10.55pm last night following a report of a robbery. Attending officers found a 50-year-old man with serious injuries to his abdomen and head. It is believed that a claw hammer was used in this attack which has been recovered. The victim was taken to QMC. Three other people were present at the property and were arrested – a man in his 40’s, a woman in her 40’s and a woman in her 50’s. Officers are seeking one other person in relation to this incident.
