Burglary - Barkston Gardens Lincoln

A man has forced his way into the home of a lady in her 80s

Around 2.20 pm yesterday, Wednesday 27 November, a man has knocked on the door of an address in Barkston Gardens, Lincoln.  The door was answered by the occupant, a lady in her 80s and having told the occupant he wanted to look at her water pipes, the man has forced his way inside the house.  The lady has been pushed over and as a result has received medical attention. 

The offender has searched the premises and left with an amount of money.  He is described as being white, 5'4 - 5'6 tall with dark hair, rough looking, clean shaven and wearing a khaki brown knee length rain coat.

We are appealing for information on this callous burglary and ask anyone who may have seen anything suspicious in the area or who may know the identity of the offender to contact us.
