Appeal - Fatal RTC, A16

We are appealing for information after a collision on the A16 in which a man died.

Following a call at 2.45pm yesterday (29 November) we attended the road between the Surfleet and Sutterton roundabouts.

The collision involved two vehicles: a blue Scania HGV and a white Ford Transit van.

The passenger in the van, a man in his 30s from the Boston area, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The driver of the van, a man in his 30s, was taken to Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, with injuries which are not life-threatening nor life-altering. He has since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.

The road was closed for several hours following the incident.
