Update, 10.15am, Wednesday, December 5 - We can now confirm that the pedestrian who died in this collision was 16-year-old Eliza Bill, from Threekingham.
In a statement, her family have paid tribute to Eliza.
“Eliza was the most beautiful soul. She touched the hearts of all who knew her with kindness and caring.
“She leaves us with broken hearts that will never mend.
“We will love you always, our princess. Your mum, dad and sister.”
The family would also like to say thank you to all in the local community and all of her friends who have been so kind to them since they moved to the area earlier this year.
We would kindly ask media to respect the family’s privacy at this very difficult time and to not contact them.
UPDATE, 12pm, Tuesday, December 4 - A 14-year-old girl was also injured in the collision. Her injuries are not thought to be serious.
Update, 6.55am, Tuesday 4th December - We are sad to report that the pedestrian involved in this collision has died. She was a 16 yr old girl from the local area. We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area of London Road, Osbournby around 1640 yesterday afternoon (3rd December) and saw the collision or saw a Scania lorry prior to the collision. Please call 101 quoting incident 290 of 3rd December. We will release more details as soon as we have them.

This was called into police at 16.43 today (Monday).
The road has been closed and we would ask motorists to avoid the area.
