The police enquiry into safeguarding concerns at the children’s home at the Swinderby site of the Kisimul Group which we announced on 30th November 2018 has now been completed. There will be no criminal proceedings as a result of the investigation. The Kisimul Group now have responsibility for any further internal investigations which will be overseen by the local authority and its partners.
DCI Richard Myszczyszyn, Senior Investigating Officer, who led the investigation, said: “My team carried out a meticulous investigation over six months since November 2018 but no criminal charges could be brought against any of those who were arrested and released pending that investigation. Throughout the enquiry we have been engaged with a multi-agency group to ensure those involved have been kept informed and any safeguarding issues addressed.”

Three further arrests have been made as part of our investigation into safeguarding concerns at the children’s home at the Swinderby site of the Kisimul Group. Two women, aged 34 and 53 and a man aged 27 years, all from Lincoln, have been bailed to return at a later date. The investigation remains on-going and we will not be commenting further.

Three people have been arrested in connection with our investigation into safeguarding concerns at the children’s home at the Swinderby site of the Kisimul Group. The three people, one man, aged 56 and two women aged 52 and 57, all from Lincoln have been bailed to return at a later date. As our investigation is on-going we will not be commenting further at this stage.
