Appeal following identity fraud offence

We are appealing to identify this woman as we believe she may be able to assist us with an investigation into an offence of identity fraud.

On 6 October, a woman entered the Argos store on the High Street, Lincoln, before opening a credit account using the details of another person, and purchasing an iPhone.

A woman also entered the Three store in Newark, taking out a mobile phone contract using the details of the victim used in the Argos offence. We believe the same woman is linked to both offences.

The female was described as having long, dark, brown hair, pulled back from the fringe and tied up on top, and wearing a dark top with a dark jacket over the top, blue jeggings style trousers, trainers and carrying a handbag with a shoulder strap.

If you believe you can help with this investigation, or you know who the woman in the picture is, please contact us on one of the following ways:

  • By calling 101 quoting 158 of 6 October
  • By emailing force.control@lincs.pnn.police.uk putting 158 of 6 October in the subject line
