Holbeach arrests

Five men have been arrested.

The five men have been arrested on suspicion of theft from motor vehicles and one for going equipped to commit crime.  Two vehicles have been seized.

The arrests follow a spate of theft and attempted thefts of catalytic convertors in the Holbeach and Spalding areas over the last month.

In the early hours of this morning, Monday 11 January, officers were called to an address on Sluice Road, Holbeach.  It was reported a catalytic convertor had been stolen from a vehicle and the offenders had left the address.

During their inquiries officers arrested 5 men, aged, 25, two aged 27, 30 and 31 years old, from the Holbeach and Spalding areas.  They remain in custody.

Two cars, a green BMW estate and a grey Audi estate have been seized.  The investigation remains ongoing.

We are appealing for anyone who may have information that will help with our investigation and anyone who has had a catalytic converter stolen in the area that may not have reported it, to contact us.
