Notice of a misconduct hearing for SC Toynbee
A misconduct hearing is to be held between 28 – 30 September for SC Samuel Toynbee
It is alleged that the special constable breached the following standard of professional behaviour:
- Discreditable Conduct
It is alleged that on 11 July 2025, he breached the standards of professional behaviour when he tested positive for cocaine and the cocaine metabolite benzoylecgonine, which indicated the use of a Class A controlled substance. The test was conducted as part of his application to join Lincolnshire Police as a police constable.
The conduct, if proved, amounts to gross misconduct.
SC Toynbee is based at Lincoln. He was suspended from duty in July 2025.
