Notice of a misconduct hearing for six officers

A misconduct hearing is to be held between 7 September and 21 September for

Sgt James Rowe, PC Liam Elder, PC Lauren Mounde, PC Hannah Sleath, SC Ellie Denton and SC Dillon Horgan.

It is alleged that the officers and special constables breached the following standards of professional behaviour.

• Duties and Responsibilities
• Use of Force
• Discreditable Conduct

PC Laren Mounde

• Authority, Respect and Courtesy
• Duties and Responsibilities
• Discreditable Conduct

It is alleged that when an intimate search was completed by police officers on 16 July 2024 it was unlawful, unnecessary and disproportionate and less intrusive methods were not considered or attempted adequately or at all. 

The officers are stationed at Lincoln and Gainsborough Police Stations.

The conduct, if proved, amounts to gross misconduct.
