How many drivers (not passengers) aged 18-25 or under have been involved in a car crash in the past five calendar years (2017-2021)?

Please provide the number injured and, separately, the number who died.

NB: we only have data on collisions where someone was injured so non injury collisions are not included.

In 2021 there were 225 injury collisions involving drivers aged 18-25 or under (table 1 - yellow highlight), resulting in 6 fatalities (table 3 – yellow highlight), 2 of which were drivers (table 2 – yellow highlight), and 323 casualties (table 3 – green highlight), 145 of which were drivers (table 2 – green highlight).
