1. I would like to make FOI request for quarterly data from Q1 2011 (1st January to 31st March 2011) to Q3 2021 (1st July to 30th September 2021) for Domestic Violence Protection Notices (DVPN) and Domestic Violence Protection Orders (DVPO) issued or obtained under the Crime and Security Act 2010 and Domestic Abuse Protection Notices (DVPN) and Domestic Abuse Protection Orders (DVPO) issued or obtained under Domestic Abuse Act 2021.

Please find above the data requested, this can only be provided in financial years broken down quarterly due to the way in which it is recorded.
Please note prior to the third quarter of the financial year of 2020/2021 this data was not recorded quarterly and therefore has not been provided.
No information is held before July 2014 as DVPN/Os were only bought in from 2014 nationally, as a new power introduced by the Crime and Security Act 2010.
Please also be aware that Police forces in the United Kingdom are routinely required to provide crime statistics to government bodies and the recording criteria is set nationally. However, the systems used for recording these figures are not generic, nor are the procedures used locally in capturing the crime data. It should be noted that for these reasons this force’s response to your questions should not be used for comparison purposes with any other response you may receive.
