Richard Dixon-Warren

Richard has lived in Lincolnshire since 2001.

He was appointed a member of the Independent Advisory Group in 2017 after retiring from the British Army after 40 years' service across the globe on operations, garrison and training duties, and exchange and loan service. This included being one of the first Joint Regional Liaison Officers, a post
created after '9/11' to provide a military liaison officer in each UK region as the focal point for the Defence contribution to resilience.

Richard is enjoying the freedom and challenges that life outside the Army brings.  He supports Service charities as a Trustee of 'Launchpad' and as a member of the Lincolnshire Committee of the Army Benevolent Fund – The Soldiers' Charity.  He is a Parish Councillor and member of the Parochial Church Council.
