Born into a large family in 1955 in Plymouth, Nick trained as a teacher but joined the RAF as a navigator and served for 32 years in a wide variety of roles.
He has lived in Lincolnshire since 1989 and, after retiring in 2010, has been active in the local community working to reduce anti-social behaviour issues and improve facilities in his own and neighbouring villages.
He previously chaired the local community police panel for 5 years before becoming a Parish Councillor in Metheringham in 2015. In May 2018 he became a District Councillor in North Kesteven.
Nick is passionate about fair play and takes a stand against injustice in whatever form it takes. He has been a member of the IAG since 2014.
