Officers investigating a report of a rape that was alleged to have occurred in the car park of the Nag's Head public house in Sleaford on Christmas Day, have confirmed that no sexual assault took place.
Detective Inspector Sean Baxter, from the Emerald Team, confirmed that a thorough investigation into the allegation concluded that events were not as initially reported and that Lincolnshire Police will not be recording a crime of any sexual offence.
