Police have named the victim from this collision as Marjorie Hill (83), of Odsall near Retford.

Emergency Services were called to Thorndyke Way, Gainsborough about 1915 last evening (27th December) where a grey Vauxhall Zafira had left the road and overturned. The driver, a 58 yr old man from Retford and his wife, who was a rear seat passenger (54 yrs) were treated for minor injuries. The front seat passenger, an 83 yr old woman from Retford died. Thorndyke Way was closed for some hours after the incident. Anyone who was in the area and saw the Vauxhall before it left the road or saw the incident itself is asked to contact police on the non-emergency number 101 or the witness hotline 01522 558855. No other details are known at this stage.
