River Death, Boston

Police were called to the yacht club area of Witham Bank West in Boston shortly after 1am this morning (Sunday), after receiving a report that a 25 year-old man had fallen from a boat and was missing in the water.

A police underwater search unit attended the scene and a man's body was recovered from the river at 8.45am.

The Coroner has been informed and a post mortem examination will take place in due course. In the meantime, his death will be treated as unexplained.
