The deceased has been named as Kevin Lee, of West Lane in Haltham.
This fatality brings to 16 the number killed on Lincolnshire's roads in 2012, compared with 19 at the same point last year.

Update: This collision has been confirmed as a fatal RTC. A 53 year-old local man who was driving a Ford Focus sadly died at the scene.
The driver of the tanker, a 39 year-old man from the Humberside area, was unhurt.
The road was reopened at approx 1.45pm.

The A153 is currently closed at Haltham, between Horncastle and Coningsby, following a serious road traffic collision that occurred between a tanker lorry and a car at 8am this morning (Monday).
