376/24 – FATAL COLLISION A1 GREAT PONTON – emergency services were called to the A1 south bound carriageway about 1825 last evening (Thursday) where a white Mini had left the road and collided with trees. A female passenger from the Mini, believed in her 50’s was pronounced dead at the scene. The female driver was taken to Peterborough District Hospital for treatment to her injuries. No other vehicles were involved. Anyone who was in the area and saw the white Mini leave the road or saw it being driven before is asked to contact police. No other details are known at the moment.
