Incident 300 of 03 May, 2012
Police are appealing for information after a front door was completely removed to burgle a house in Lincoln.
The incident took place at a house in West Parade, near the entrance to West Common, between 8.15am and 3.50pm yesterday.
Offenders took the front door off its hinges to get into the house. They carried out an extensive search and stole a jewellery box and electrical goods.
This would have taken a considerable amount of time and it is possible that residents or dog walkers and horse riders using the common may have seen the offenders removing the door. Police are appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them as soon as possible.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact DC Cath Leeman at Lincoln CID via the non-emergency 101 number, quoting incident number 300 of May 3.
