Burglary, George Street, Mablethorpe

Incident 391 of 2nd June 2012

Tiffany braceletPolice are appealing for information following a burglary which took place at a property in George Street, Mablethorpe. This occurred some time between the afternoon of Friday 1st June and about 6pm on Saturday 2nd June. Entry was gained by forcing open a patio door.

A number of items of jewellery were stolen, some of which is distinctive and unusual. Among the items taken were a Tiffany & Co. necklace and bracelet set, (silver multi chain with heart and toggle clasp) both in green pouches (like the one in attached picture). One of the pouches had a pair of Oliver Webber, 18 carat white gold earrings in as well. These were horse shoe shaped studded hoops. Additionally, rings were taken from a holder on the top of a cabinet - one by Pilgrim which was distinctive and made of silver. It was adjustable, with a large rectangle, beige/silver design on the front. There were two other rings, one stretchy diamante and one made of silver with a round diamante in.

If anyone saw or heard any suspicious activity in the George Street area of Mablethorpe between 1st -2nd June, or has seen or been offered any of the stolen jewellery, they are asked to contact DC Becky Manson of Louth CID on 101 quoting incident number 391 of 2nd June.
