Police are appealing for witnesses to a burglary that took place in Cromwell Close, Boston, at approx 9.10am on Saturday 15 September.
The elderly female occupant was at home in her kitchen at the time of the incident and had her rear door ajar but with the security chain in place.
The offender broke the chain to access the property via the door and demanded money. He is described as a white male, average height, wearing a padded jacket black or navy with light blue piping down the left hand side, dark trousers, dark woollen hat, scarf and gloves. The scarf and hat were used to hide his face.
After threatening the lady and searching her bedroom, he left the address with a small amount of cash.
