Incident 19 of February 3, 2012
Police are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in a Stamford nightclub.
This incident took place at around 1.30am this morning in Central Nightclub in Broad Street, Stamford.
A 30-year-old local man was punched to the head. He has been taken to Adenbrookes Hospital where he is being treated for a head injury. He is in a serious condition. A 32-year-old man from the Sheffield area was arrested in connection with the incident a short time later and he is currently helping police with their enquiries.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or anyone who believes they have any information to get in touch with them as possible.
