Update - Robbery - Cecil Street, Grantham - Incident 343 of 4th April 2010

On 06/04/10 CPS agreed to charge both Rhys Tomlinson aged 18 of  Woodborough Road, St Annes, Nottingham and Lewis Kelly now aged 18 of  Willow Road, West Bridgeford, Nottingham with robbery at the address on Cecil Street, Grantham on 04/04/10. It is alleged that these offenders stole £500 from the victim at gun point. Marcus Hughes aged 18 of  Blackthorn Close, Gedling has been charged with theft from a dwelling (this relates to a mobile phone taken from the address). All three appeared before Grantham Magistrates on 06/04. Hughes was released on bail. Tomlinson and Kelly were remanded in custody until 14 April 2010 when they will appear at Lincoln Crown Court.

Robbery - Cecil Street, Grantham - Incident 343 of 4th April 2010

This offence was committed at about 6:00pm on Sunday 4th April 2010. Four men visited a house on Cecil Street at Grantham and threatened a 21-year-old woman before stealing cash. They are believed to have left the area in a black BMW saloon possibly driven by a fifth man. The car went in the general direction of the A52 towards Nottingham. The victim was shaken by her ordeal but otherwise unhurt.

Four men aged 22, 18 and 17 (One mans age is not yet available on the incident log) have been arrested in the Notts area on our behalf and a BMW car has been seized. The suspects will be interviewed at Grantham Police Station later today (6/04/10).
