School Burglary -Yarborough School, Caistor - Incident 107 of 7th April 2010

This offence was discovered on 7th April and may have occurred over the previous few days. Entry was forced to a mobile classroom and two LCD monitors stolen.

Burglary Dwelling - Rasen Lane, Lincoln - Incident 67 of 7th April 2010

This offence was committed between 6:30pm on 6/4 and 08:00am on 7/4. The offender(s) forced entry via a dining-room window and stole a Toshiba Mini NB 1200 12w dark blue lap top, model number PLL 23E.

Attempt Theft From Quarry - Heath Lane, Metheringham - Incident 441 of 7th April 2010

This offence is likely to be linked to four other quarry thefts committed over the Easter weekend and circulated in our press release of 6th April. This time the offenders gained access to the quarry and attempted to steal copper cable using a forklift truck from the site. They trigger an alarm at about 10:00pm 7/4 and tipped the forklift truck onto its side before escaping empty handed.

Boston Neighbourhood Policing Area

Burglary, Bungley Lane, Kirton – Incident 89 of 6 April 2010

This incident occurred at an unknown time over the Easter Bank holiday weekend.  On Tuesday 6 April, it was discovered that entry had been forced to farm sheds on Bungley Lane, Kirton by cutting off the padlock and a potato ridger had been stolen.  Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Pullen at Boston Police Station on 0300 111 0300 quoting the incident number.

Theft Of Lead, St Luke's Church, Stickney – Incident 55 of 6 April 2010

Police are appealing for information after lead was stolen from the roof of St Luke's Church in Hall Lane, Stickney.  The theft occurred overnight on Monday 5 April and is the third incident of lead theft at the church in the past month. Anyone who witnesses any suspicious activity in the vicinity of the church or who has information about the thefts is asked to contact Boston Police Station on 0300 111 0300 quoting the incident number.

Louth and Mablethorpe Neighbourhood Policing Area

Sneak-in burglary, Holton Road, Tetney – Incident 267 of 6 April 2010

This incident occurred between 4.30pm and 5pm on Thursday 1 April on Holton Road in Tetney.  A 38 year old woman was unloading her car and placed a bag containing a laptop and digital camera in the porch area of her house while she carried some other items upstairs. While she was upstairs, the offender entered the porch and stole the bag.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Cummings at Louth Police Station on 0300 111 0300 quoting the incident number.

Vehicle Theft And Arson, Sutton on Sea – Incidents 42 and 71 of 7 April 2010

A white Ford Escort van registration S267 UOP was stolen from an address in Victoria Road, Sutton on Sea between 10pm on Tuesday 6 April and 5.30am on Wednesday 7 April.  At 8.30am that morning, the vehicle was discovered in a ditch on Rossa Lane, Trusthorpe where it had been set on fire.  Anyone with any information is asked to contact PC Willoughby at Mablethorpe Police Station on 0300 111 0300 quoting the incident numbers.

Theft of Canaries - Little Common Lane, Holbeach Clough, Holbeach - Incident 211 of 7th April 2010

This offence is believed to have been committed overnight 6th/7th April from an aviary in the garden at the above location. Twenty birds were stolen.
