Appeal for information
Officers have launched a murder enquiry and they are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward and help them with their enquiries. The incident took place between 6.30pm and 7.45pm on Saturday October 29 in Westwick Gardens, Lincoln.
Three potential suspects are being sought
Three potential suspects are being sought. All are white men and all are around 6ft tall. They were all wearing dark coloured hoodies. It is believed they entered the house, attacked Mr Grey and stole jewellery and cash.

Police have arrested four people in connection with the investigation into the murder of Sonny Grey.
Over the last three days officers have arrested a 29-year-old man and two 18-year-old men in the Cambridgeshire area and a 29-year-old man in the Lincolnshire area in connection with the incident. The men were questioned by police and bailed pending further enquiries until a date in late February next year.

Police are appealing for information on jewellery which may have been stolen from Sonny Grey by his attackers. It is believed the offenders fled the scene with Mr Grey’s jewellery and possibly an amount of cash. Some of this jewellery is very distinctive and it will be familiar to people in the traveller community. Mr Grey often wore a number of fairly chunky gold rings, including one with a horse's head engraving. He also wore quite a thick gold chain around his neck.

The 70-year-old man involved in this incident died in hospital in Nottingham at around midnight last night. Officers have launched a murder enquiry and they are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward and help them with their enquiries.
